 General Rules and Procedures

 COVID POLICY

 LVILR’s COVID policy is the same as that of the College. Briefly, masking and vaccination are optional. For details please see Cedar Crest College website at

REGISTRATION

Registration materials are available (beginning on 6 Feb 2024) on this site on the S2024 Registration page.

 The Fall Semester usually runs from the beginning of October through the middle of December, and registration materials are usually available in mid-September. The Spring semester usually runs from about   1 March through about May 5 and registration materials are usually available in mid-February. Please see the registration package for details for the S2024 semester.

 Tuition varies from $80 per semester to $140 per semester depending on the number of courses taken. Please see the registration forms on the S2024 Registration page for details..

 

PARKING

Parking is available on campus, but space is limited. Please do not park at the Atrium or in spaces reserved for faculty and staff. Please refer to the campus map to locate lots in which you may park. Also, please car pool whenever possible. Please see the Campus Map.

 

EMERGENCIES

For health and accident related emergencies, please contact the campus police. They are skilled in CPR and will call 911 if deemed necessary. Dial 0 on any campus phone to reach them, or dial 610-437-4471 (switchboard) on your cell phone.

 

COLLEGE CLOSING

All LVILR classes will be canceled if the College is closed

 Closing will be announced on the Cedar Crest Weather Hotline (610-606-4629) and posted on the Cedar Crest website. Closing also will be posted on WFMZ-TV.

 

CLASS CANCELLATION WHEN THE COLLEGE IS OPEN

 Class members will be notified by email if any ILR class is cancelled.

 

 DECORUM


Please keep in mind that we are guests of the College. To that end, please:

  1. Be quiet in the hallways.
  2. Wait for a classroom to be vacated by the previous class before entering.
  3. Silence your cell phone.
  4. Vacate the room promptly after your class.
  5. Keep in mind that smoking is not permitted anywhere on the Cedar Crest campus.

LVILR does not permit solicitation of students by instructors or other students for any reason.
