The Lehigh Valley Institute for Learning in Retirement (LVILR) is a non-profit private foundation that holds its classes on the Cedar Crest College campus. It was organized in 1982 by retirees interested in continuing their education on an informal basis and currently has an active membership of about 550. Membership is open to all retirees and to all others aged 55 and older.
Classes are taught by LVILR members, members of the Cedar Crest College faculty and others from community at large. During the 2018/2019 academic year, we offered about 45 courses a semester covering subjects ranging from the practical to the philosophical. We invite you to explore the Registration Package on the Spring 2020 Registration page to see the scope of our program and the range of expertise of our instructors.
We are a community of learners and colleagues engaged in a congenial quest for knowledge, understanding and camaraderie. We invite you to join us.
Please email us at LVILRCCC@gmail.com if you have any questions.
